Bridle Path Stables (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website bridlepathstables.com. This page explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Who we are
Bridle Path Stables is a private horse boarding facility located at 2633 Williamsburg-Bantam Road, Bethel, Ohio 45106. You can reach us by phone or text at 513-383-0191.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Specifically:
- Account information. If you create an account to sign up for one of our camps, we store the username and email address you provide.
- Camp registration information. When you register a child for a camp, we collect the camper’s name, age, the parent or guardian’s contact details, and any emergency-contact, medical, or waiver information requested on the registration form.
- Contact-form submissions. If you fill out a contact form, we receive whatever you enter — typically your name, email or phone number, and the message you send.
- Standard server logs. Our web server records IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser user-agent strings for normal operation, security, and abuse prevention.
How we use this information
- To process camp registrations and communicate with you about your registration.
- To respond to questions you send us through the contact form, phone, or text.
- To send you administrative emails about your account (for example, password resets or registration confirmations).
- To protect the site from abuse — including bot signups and spam — using Cloudflare Turnstile on the login and registration pages and an automated tool called fail2ban on the server.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.
Cookies
When you log in to register for a camp, WordPress sets session cookies that keep you signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile may also set short-lived cookies as part of its anti-bot check on the login and registration pages. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Who we share information with
We share the information you provide only with the service providers that help us run the site:
- Our web host (Linode / Akamai) stores the site and its database on our behalf.
- Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that visitors using the login and registration pages are humans rather than bots.
- Our email delivery service sends transactional emails (registration confirmations, password resets) on our behalf.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the safety of our property, our riders, or others.
How long we keep your information
- Account and camp-registration records are retained as long as you have an active account or as needed for safety, scheduling, and our records.
- Contact-form submissions are retained for a reasonable period in case you follow up.
- Server logs are rotated and retained for a short period (typically 14 days) for security purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, contact Mary at 513-383-0191 or use the form on our Contact Us page.
Children
Camp registrations contain information about children, but those registrations are submitted by a parent or guardian through the parent or guardian’s account. Children do not create accounts on the site directly.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and login/registration pages are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and rate-limited at the server level. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and revise the effective date below. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
Contact us about privacy
Questions about this privacy policy or about the information we hold about you should be directed to Mary at 513-383-0191 or via our Contact Us page.
